Steve Yamaguchi, JD

Steve is the Senior Manager of Licensing Compliance and Revenue at the USC Stevens Center. He handles contract administration and compliance to ensure agreements align with university policies and contractual requirements; conducts related reviews, audits, and investigations; and develops and manages corrective action plans as needed. Steve also manages data audits, revenue distributions, and reporting for related technology transfer activities.

Prior to joining USC Stevens, Steve was with the Office of the General Counsel, where he handled a variety of transactions, projects, and policy matters, including advising on various aspects of intellectual property licensing. In addition, Steve has worked at a global law firm, Paul Hastings, where he handled a variety of business and financial transactions. He also teaches contract drafting at the USC Gould School of Law.

Steve earned a BA in Political Science and Japanese from Stanford and a JD from Columbia with a certificate in International Law.
