Dr. Rosemary Kiser is a licensing and business development professional and registered U.S. patent agent with more than 14 years of experience spanning university, startup, and corporate settings.

As the Director of Technology Licensing, Dr. Kiser leads the licensing team and facilitates the patenting and licensing of USC inventions. Prior to joining USC Stevens, Dr. Kiser managed patents and licensing at the California Institute of Technology for technologies in chemistry, materials, and climate sectors. She has licensed university inventions to 15 startups that have collectively raised over $450M in venture capital and industry funding. Prior to working in technology transfer, she conducted postdoctoral research in polymer chemistry at Caltech and worked in business development at a startup that was acquired by ExxonMobil.

Dr. Kiser holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD in Chemistry from Stanford University.
