Rebecca Skalla, PhD

Technology Licensing Manager
Rebecca is a Technology Licensing Manager at the USC Stevens Center for Innovation with expertise in the physical sciences.

She is a scientist with research experience in inorganic materials for sustainable energy, specifically with metal-organic porous materials for carbon capture and metallic nanoparticle electrocatalysts for CO₂ reduction. Prior to joining USC, she assisted in patent preparation and prosecution at a large national law firm across engineering, materials science, and chemical technologies.

Rebecca is a USPTO Registered Patent Agent. She earned her PhD and MS in Chemistry from Indiana University and a BA in Chemistry from the University of Colorado.
