Benjamin Wild, MSci, EPA
Benjamin is the Interim Associate Director of Finance and Operations at the USC Stevens Center for Innovation, where he manages finances, budget planning, tracking, forecasting, and operations for the department.
Prior to this role, he was on the licensing team at the Stevens Center for two years, most recently as a Senior Licensing Manager, and worked closely with university researchers to commercialize their technologies. Benjamin has more than a decade of experience in the intellectual property sector, working with inventors and industry to manage technologies spanning the physical and life sciences, with a particular focus on the applied chemistry, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology fields. He trained and qualified as a European patent attorney (EPA) at a highly ranked UK-based patent and trademark firm.
Benjamin earned a Masters in Chemistry (MSci, ARCS) from Imperial College London and a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law (PGCert) from Queen Mary, University of London. He is also named on the list of professional representatives entitled to act before the European Patent Office. Currently, Benjamin is a part-time MBA candidate at the University of Southern California and expects to graduate in 2027.
