
Alyssa Wong
Alyssa is a Licensing Intern at the USC Stevens Center and a PhD candidate studying cancer biology and genomics at the Keck School of Medicine. Her doctoral research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying meningioma biology and identifying therapeutic strategies for these tumors.
Her research experience spanning metabolic disease and cancer biology has shaped her interest in translating scientific discoveries beyond the laboratory into innovations with meaningful impact on patient care. Alyssa is passionate about bridging scientific research and real-world applications and looks forward to expanding her experience in technology commercialization.
She earned her BS in Biology with Departmental Honors from California State University, Los Angeles, where she completed an honors thesis on glucose-monitoring devices for diabetes management
