Peijean Tsai is Marketing Coordinator at the USC Stevens Center for Innovation. She assists marketing efforts to highlight the Stevens Center as a university resource fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and works to promote and increase communications about the Stevens Center’s activities. Her role to support the Stevens Center team includes helping the center’s licensing managers in the marketing of USC technologies to potential industry partners and developing outreach materials for the center. She also organizes the USC Stevens Student Innovator Showcase, the center’s annual flagship event and student business competition held during USC’s Trojan Family Weekend.
Prior to joining USC, Tsai worked for seven years at the technology transfer office of Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute in La Jolla, California and previously worked as a print journalist for daily and weekly newspapers in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Northern California.
Tsai has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a dual focus in marketing and business analytics at the USC Marshall School of Business.
