Moumita Chakraborty, Ph.D. is a Licensing Associate at the USC Stevens Center for Innovation. Prior to joining the Stevens Center she worked as a Technology Licensing Associate at Washington State University for two years, and she worked as a research associate for five years in biological systems engineering at Washington State University, performing research in a wide range of fields involving analytical chemistry, natural product chemistry, bioreactor designing, and cell culture. She has authored 12 publications in the field of bioresource technologies and agriculture.
Chakraborty holds a Ph.D. in Natural Product Chemistry and a Master of Science in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India. She also earned a Business Development certification from the University of Washington. She is an active member of the Association of University Technology Managers.
