Jose Carrillo is the Computer Services Consultant at the USC Stevens Center for Innovation. He provides assistance and advice in the use of computer hardware, software, and networks to Stevens Center staff, including daily technical support and implementation of new projects, systems, and programs.
Prior to USC, Carrillo was a technician for the Whittier City School District and the Palos Verdes Peninsula School District where he managed over 3,000 devices for students and staff. He also has worked at the Griffith Observatory, where he was tasked with maintaining exhibits, ticketing systems, and offices. Carrillo also has his own startup, Oxelotl Creative, which specializes in graphic design, website management, and marketing.
Carrillo is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Social Change.
