Charlie Pruitt, J.D. is Agreements Administrator at the USC Stevens Center for Innovation. Pruitt brings a legal compliance and policy background to his role, where he manages, organizes, and implements all contract administration and agreement compliance activities.
Prior to joining the Stevens Center, he worked at the University of Dayton’s Office of Legal Affairs, where he coordinated a policy compliance review across all university departments while building the college’s digital policy repository. He also supported the legal team with issues involving labor and employment, Title IX, immigration and intellectual property. Pruitt previously served as Assistant Director of Ohio State Aquatics, coordinating high-profile athletic events.
Pruitt earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the inaugural Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic, which provided legal guidance to inventors and entrepreneurs in the greater Dayton, Ohio community.
He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Dayton Bar Association, and a licensed attorney in both Ohio and California.
