On Monday, February 3, 2014, the USC Stevens Center for Innovation proudly welcomed five new interns to our Downtown LA office.
While the title of “intern” might bring images of stubborn copy machines and endless coffee runs to mind, these five students will not be spending their days completing menial tasks. Rather, they are now a part of the prestigious and competitive Coulter Translational Research Partnership Program.
As a part of the Coulter Program, our interns will be working on projects that involve:
- conducting market assessments (involving both primary and secondary research)
- preparing detailed business feasibility studies for new technologies
- supporting Coulter Translational Partners
- evaluating and developing business models and market penetration strategies
