Description:
The USC Student Innovator Showcase gives students from all corners of the university – from interactive media to public policy, education to engineering, to life sciences and the environment – the opportunity to present their breakthrough ideas. Every year, hundreds of students from all over campus participate in this highly interactive, visually engaging showcase. During the showcase the innovators are judged on criteria such as potential for societal impact, novelty, understanding of market and more. Judges select ten finalists to give a three-minute “fast pitch” presentation about their ideas. Under Tommy Trojan in Hahn Plaza, the finalists provide an audience of parents and students an overview of their ideas, discussed potential for societal impact, and shared their progress to date.
