Red Bull Game & Demo Lounge
Red Bull provided two massive shipping containers that were custom designed for video game play. The lounge featured the Red Bull Wigwam Game Station featuring some of the coolest video games currently in development by USC GamePipe and Interactive Media Division students. There were also two kinect tents and four outdoor living rooms where guests could relax before and after sessions in Bovard.

Also featured were interactive technology demos, simulations and displays from the USC Annenberg Innovation Lab and the USC Institute for Creative Technologies, a digital media art gallery from The Tiziano Project and motorized skateboard rides from Z Board. In addition, local fare featured, with the help of Tracy Lawrence of Chewse.com, were Fry Girl, Chichen Itza, ChocoVivo and Café Demitasse. To highlight the creativity, innovative thinking and success of USC’s video game design programs and local fare that participated, TEDxUSC was proud to partner with Red Bull and bring the Red Bull Game & Demo Lounge.

WHAT IS TEDx? TEDxUSC Team

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUSC, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUSC event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours are self-organized.
