Hello colleagues, collaborators and friends:

After serving as Interim Executive Director since last summer, I return to my role leading the Technology Advancement & Licensing team next Monday, March 25th as we welcome Jennifer Dyer as our new Executive Director.

A key element of the strategic vision of USC is creating scholarship with consequence. USC is committed to providing its researchers with exceptional support in effectively translating their research into products and services that benefit society, as well as increasing engagement with industry.

The appointment of Jennifer Dyer as Executive Director of USC Stevens reflects this commitment. She brings with her two decades of experience in technology licensing and cultivating corporate research relationships, including past service as Director of Technology Development at The Scripps Research Institute and her most recent role as Corporate Development Consultant with Life Technologies Corporation.

USC's commitment and capacity for impactful translational research has never been greater and we look forward to Jennifer leading our efforts to help USC innovators make impact with their ideas and to help the business community access USC researchers, technologies and startup opportunities.
