New Marketing Coordinator Joins USC Stevens Team

This month the USC Stevens Center for Innovation welcomes Peijean Tsai to assist with the center’s marketing efforts. As marketing coordinator, Tsai aims to highlight USC Stevens as a university resource fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and will work to promote and increase communications about USC Stevens activities.

“The Stevens Center is already a valuable asset to the USC community, and I’m thrilled about the opportunity to develop the center even further as the go-to resource for faculty and students wishing to drive their ideas and technologies forward.”

She will support the USC Stevens team, including helping the center’s licensing managers in the marketing of USC technologies to potential industry partners and developing outreach materials for the center. She will also organize the USC Stevens Center’s annual flagship event, the Student Innovator Showcase during Trojan Family Weekend in October 2015.

Prior to joining USC Stevens, Tsai worked for seven years in a similar academic business development setting at the Office of Technology Management and Commercialization of the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif. and previously worked as a newspaper journalist in San Diego and Northern California.
