True Tally: An Inexpensive Next-Generation Digital Camera Feature

Description

“True Tally” is an invention that provides unique, useful, real-time feedback to potential subjects within the scene of a digital still or video camera, in the spirit of what has currently become known as “respectful cameras.” The invention itself can be integral to cameras and extremely inexpensive within the manufacturing process. A secondary application for True Tally is as a means of collecting unique, useful, real-time additional data about the scene which can be used for “smart camera” computer vision applications.
