Richmond Wolf

Richmond Wolf is vice president of and an investment analyst for Capital World Investors, a division of Capital Research and Management Company.

He joined Capital in January 2006 as an investment analyst in medical technology and as a generalist in small- and mid-cap technology companies. He now covers medical technology, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and solar power.
 

Rich was formerly the assistant vice president for technology transfer at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) where he managed the technology licensing and venture activity at Caltech and NASA’s JPL. He has been a member or observer of various boards of directors and advisory boards of public and private companies. Rich is a graduate of Princeton University cum laude. He received a Ph.D. from Caltech, and he is a registered patent agent having passed the U.S. patent bar. He is based in Los Angeles.
