Paul brings a great mix of industry, business,
government and academic experience to the USC Stevens team. He has patented numerous innovations in
physical and life sciences, and has licensed his technologies to Fortune 200
Companies. He has been a Director and
CTO in three public companies, has formed and funded several start-ups, and has
launched products in Australia, Europe and Asia. Paul worked for
Lockheed-Martin, Rockwell-Boeing, and the Department of Energy, national
laboratory system. He has served in the
roles of program leader or principal investigator with NASA and the USDA. He has also served on two White House Science
and Technology
Committees, advised the National Academy of Sciences, and helped guide the
Research Title of the Farm Bill, working with many Land Grant
universities. His technical interests
are: Spectroscopy, DNA instrumentation, Alternative Energy, Command and Control
Systems, Precision Farming, Climatology, and Magnetohydrodynamics. |
