Karen Siemens brings extensive experience in project coordination and office management as the Assistant to the Vice Provost for Innovation at USC Stevens. Before joining the USC Stevens team Karen was an office manager, in charge of running the day-to-day operations of a private dental practice in the Bay Area during its' starting phase. Prior to that she worked at Hill Physicians Medical Group as a health education coordinator where she was involved in the research, design, promotion and implementation of a wide variety of health education classes, programs and interventions.  She also helped to manage and launch various health-related pilot programs based in physicians' offices and centralized in Hill Physicians' corporate offices. Karen has a B.S. degree in Health Science with an option in Community Health Education and a minor in Physical Education from California State University, Chico.
