Joyce Williams joined the Office of Technology staff in 1996 working in the Marketing Department and later joined the patent staff as Administrative Assistant, Compliance.  In this capacity, Joyce works closely with inventors and government funding agencies to stay in compliance with government funding and ensuring that all new, funded technologies are disclosed according to the Bayh Dole Act. In addition, Joyce is a recent graduate of Los Angeles Southwest Community College, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and is currently attending Cal State Dominguez Hills majoring in Psychology.
