Elisa Wiefel leads strategy and execution of all communications and marketing activities for USC Stevens including strategic planning, market research, development of brand identity, public relations, collateral development, and event planning. Prior to joining USC Stevens, Wiefel was the Director of Marketing at the digital entertainment start-up Control Room (formerly Network LIVE), where she managed all marketing activities. As an early leader in digital entertainment, Wiefel's keen understanding of the shifting marketplace and forward-thinking approach to communications strategy was instrumental in the growth of the Digital Entertainment Rights and Technology global practice at Edelman. While at Edelman, Wiefel developed and directed communications campaigns for clients including Starbucks Hear Music, MySpace.com, The Recording Academy (GRAMMYS), the Motion Picture Association (MPAA) and CinemaNow.
